What is the Walkers Taste Icons Local Restaurants offer?
We’ve partnered up with 1000s of local restaurants in the UK and are thrilled to offer a £5 off voucher upon the purchase of one of our Walkers Local Taste Icons range, redeemable at local participating restaurants near you!
This means, you will be able to redeem £5 off your meal (with a minimum spend of £20 redeemable on food and soft drinks). Individual restaurants may be subject to their own T&C’s so please check these before redeeming.
Which Walkers products are included in the promotion?
Participating Walkers Local Taste Icon products: include the following:
- Walkers Fish & Chips Flavour, Thai Green Curry Flavour, Madras Curry Flavour – 5pk, 45g, 65g bags
- Walkers Chicken Burrito Flavour – 5pk, 65g bags
Please note that the outer packaging of the 5 pack multi-pack is eligible; however you won’t find the yellow promotional flash on individual multi-pack bags (25g) which are not eligible for this promotion.
When is the promotion running?
The promotion begins 01.08.2021 and the last available date to use your £5 voucher will be 23.59pm on 15.02.2022
How do I register?
1) Purchase a promotional pack and visit walkers.co.uk/local.
2) Enter your details and code starting “GB” (found in the best before box)
3) Select a restaurant near you
4) Present your QR code voucher in restaurant or quote the voucher code if ordering by phone.
Where do I find my promotional code?
The promotional code can be found in the Best before box on the back of the crisp packet starting GB
How old do I have to be to enjoy the £5 off offer?
You must be over 16 to enjoy the voucher.
I don’t live in Great Britain. Can I still enjoy the £5 off?
Unfortunately, only residents of Great Britain (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) can use the voucher
I have missed the closing date but still have a promotional pack. Can I still use my £5 off pack?
Unfortunately, not. You can only use your voucher between 01.08.2021 and 23.59pm on 15.02.2022
Where can I buy the walkers taste icons packs?
All major retailers that stock our new taste icons promotional packs.
I wasn’t happy with the service/food I received when I visited, who do I contact?

How many times may I register for the promotion?
You may register once per promotional pack, however you can participate as many times as you like during the promotional period.
Is there a minimum spend to be able to claim the £5 off?
Yes the offer is valid with a minimum spend of £20 per meal (excluding alcohol)
How do I find out which restaurants are participating?
Once you have registered you will automatically be directed to the restaurants landing page where you can browse all the local participating restaurants near you. If you haven’t yet registered, you can still view participating restaurants by visiting walkers.co.uk/local/nearme
I’ve changed my mind about the restaurant I want to use my voucher at, what should I do?
The voucher you have redeemed is not restricted to a specific restaurant and can be used at any participating restaurant.
Can I use my voucher with delivery partners such as Uber Eats, Deliveroo and Just Eat?
Unfortunately, it’s not possible to use the voucher with third party delivery partners.
How do I use my voucher for delivery or phone/online orders?
The voucher you receive will be a QR code which can be scanned at the restaurant. There is also a unique code printed underneath the QR code which you can quote in person or over the telephone, mentioning the Walkers promotion.
What if there are no restaurants in my area?
There should be restaurants within 15 mile / 20 min travel time of your location.
If you cannot find a restaurant nearby, then please get in touch with us using the contact us form and we will endeavour to recruit a restaurant in your area.
I have not received my QR code?
You should receive your voucher via email, if you have not received this within 1 hour, please check you junk mail. If you still have not received your voucher, please get in touch and we will arrange for this to be resent to you.
Can I use more than 1 voucher?
No, it will only be possible to use 1 voucher per booking group.
Can I use my £5 off voucher alongside other offers in my local restaurant?
Please see the individual Terms and Conditions for your specific local restaurant on our website www.walkers.co.uk/local.
If we go into a national lockdown again, can I still use my £5 off voucher in local restaurants?
At the time of writing, our local partner restaurants are all open and have taken measures to safeguard customers during your visit. We would also ask that you continue to follow the latest government advice when planning your visit.
